One system. Five integrated technologies.

Pure Air Nova does not rely on a single mechanism. It combines five complementary technologies inside a modular Guard stack to address the wide range of particles, gases and conditions found indoors.

Each technology targets a different class of contaminants. Together, they work in sequence and in synergy to deliver measurable improvement in the air you breathe.

A modular Guard stack, configured per room

Room air moves through a sequence of Guard stages held in a snap-fit cartridge. Some stages are reusable and serviceable. Others are replaceable based on measured loading and usage. Configurations can be tuned to the needs of the room and the priorities of the user.

01

PhotoGuard

Light that powers the treatment process.

PhotoGuard is the controlled light source working together with OxidGuard.

Its first role is to activate the photocatalytic materials in OxidGuard, providing the energy needed to drive reactions that help degrade captured organic pollutants.

But the light has another function. At selected germicidal wavelengths and sufficient exposure, it can also help inactivate airborne microorganisms, including bacteria and viruses, as air moves through the treatment chamber.

light + photocatalyst → chemical pollutant treatment light + microorganisms → microbial inactivation

The result is an active treatment stage designed to address pollutants that conventional mechanical filtration and adsorption alone cannot fully manage.

Targets: Residual organic pollutants · Bacteria · Viruses · Other susceptible airborne microorganisms

Ionization

Helping the smallest particles become easier to capture.

Ionization acts as an additional particle-control step rather than replacing the physical filter.

The system introduces controlled electrical charges into the airflow. Very small airborne particles can acquire these charges, making them more likely to interact with other particles or with the filtration media.

This helps the downstream ParticleGuard capture particles that can otherwise remain suspended in the air for long periods.

Targets: Ultrafine and difficult-to-capture airborne particles

ParticleGuard

Flexible filtration for the particles you breathe.

ParticleGuard uses electrostatically enhanced melt-blown filter media to capture airborne particles such as dust, pollen, pet dander, smoke, and fine particulate matter.

The fibers are given an electrostatic charge that helps attract and hold particles as air passes through the filter, improving capture without relying only on very dense material.

Because different spaces have different needs, ParticleGuard can be configured with filtration levels ranging approximately from MERV 10 to MERV 15. This allows Pure Air Nova to balance particle capture, airflow, and energy consumption for different applications.

Selected filter configurations can also be designed with washable or reusable components, helping reduce unnecessary filter waste.

Targets: Dust · Pollen · Pet particles · Smoke · Fine particulate matter

OdorGuard

For pollutants you can smell—and many you cannot.

Particle filters are effective against solids, but many indoor pollutants exist as gases. OdorGuard is designed specifically for odours, VOCs, cooking emissions, and other unwanted gaseous compounds.

It uses our advanced, patent-protected adsorbent materials with highly porous internal structures. These materials contain enormous numbers of microscopic adsorption sites where gas molecules can be captured and held.

In simple terms, OdorGuard acts like a molecular sponge, providing far more active surface area than you can see from the outside.

The adsorbent chemistry can also be tailored toward different indoor-air challenges rather than relying on a single conventional carbon filter for every application.

Targets: Odours · VOCs · Cooking emissions · Selected harmful gases

OxidGuard

A washable surface that actively treats pollutants.

OxidGuard goes beyond simply trapping contaminants. It uses a washable photocatalytic and antimicrobial filter surface designed to actively treat pollutants passing through the system.

The catalytic materials—including advanced materials such as metal–organic frameworks (MOFs)—provide a highly porous surface with many active reaction sites.

When activated by PhotoGuard, these photocatalysts can generate reactive species that help break down adsorbed organic pollutants and VOCs into simpler compounds, rather than allowing them to accumulate indefinitely on the filter.

The surface is also designed with antimicrobial functionality, helping reduce microbial growth on the treatment media itself.

Because the active material is supported on a reusable structure, the stage is being developed as a washable, long-life component rather than a conventional disposable filter.

Targets: Residual VOCs · Organic pollutants · Microbial contamination on the filter surface

Customizable

Pure Air Nova’s modular filtration system can be configured with different filter technologies based on the customer, environment, and target pollutants. Each filter module can also be replaced, upgraded, or reconfigured over time, allowing the system to adapt as your air quality needs change.

Washable & Reusable

Selected filter components can be regenerated using a mild citric acid cleaning solution. This process helps remove accumulated contaminants, refresh the filtration media, and extend its usable life—reducing replacement frequency, maintenance cost, and waste.
